The Cooper Union End Of Year Show
Typeface and identity designed for Cooper Union's student curated end of year show.
The typeface is based off
Stephen Doyle's new logo
for the school, using the oblique geometry and structure of the grid to create each
character,
while the identity aims to deconstruct the characters.
Whatsoever Things Are True.
Whatsoever Things Are True was the senior thesis collaboration between myself David Maron, Rachel Matts, and Erik Winkowski
at The Cooper Union School of Art. The title and collaborative inspiration began with the participants' individual interpretations of the phrase "Whatsoever things
are true," which appears in the 1859 charter of the Cooper Union as the school's motto. Special thanks to
Mike Perry for publishing the show's zine.
